An extensive exploratory and a wide range of conceptual ideas were presented for this revolutionary new foundation launch - working simultaneously with the L'Oreal lab and marketing team. Through numerous focus group testings and many rounds of client marketing debates, the ultimate name winner was “True Match” and the winning campaign idea for the launch was named "Puzzles," as featured here.
BOTTLE PACKAGING: In an ideal process, a product packaging would be available for the start of advertising conceptualization. However, product formula was still being worked on at the labs and product packaging was not yet available. So I designed my own packaging for conceptualization purposes with a minimalist and timeless look. The L’Oreal marketing and management teams fell in love with it and ultimately became the final packaging for the launch of True Match Foundation, as featured here and in stores until this day.
